Staying at Mount Hutt Motels was a delightful experience that felt both cozy and welcoming. The clean and spacious room, equipped with a king bed and two additional singles, was perfect for our group getaway-each bed had an electric blanket that kept us warm during the chilly nights. With the beautiful gardens outside, I found myself wishing for sunnier weather to fully embrace the picturesque scenery. The staff went above and beyond, presenting me with a lovely bouquet of hand-picked roses for my birthday, which was a heartwarming touch. They also provided useful tips on the nearby eateries and the Opuke Thermal Pools, which were only a short distance away. After a day of exploring, we enjoyed renting DVDs from the office for a cozy movie night in our room. With the recreational amenities like the outdoor tennis court and the children's play area featuring a trampoline, Mount Hutt Motels is an ideal spot for families, too. Its proximity to both the ski slopes and the local shops made it convenient, providing us with a relaxing atmosphere while still being close to adventure. I highly recommend this gem for anyone looking to unwind after a day of exploring the majestic landscapes of New Zealand!
